最近、YouTubeでいろいろなアーティストのミュージックビデオをよく見ています。
YouTubeの広告収入のおかげで、フルバージョンの動画の公開が多くてうれしいです。
ただ、YouTube自体は、派手なサムネイルの個人動画が多いので、決して見やすいとはいえません。そこで、少しでも見やすくなるようにChromeに拡張機能を導入してみます。
YouTubeのサムネイルを変更
サムネイルをその動画から取り出した画像（先頭、途中、最後）で置き換えて表示します。
あのゴテゴテした大きな文字や刺激的なタイトルで見る人を煽る（あおる）いかにも下品で見苦しいサムネイルを見なくて済みます。

YouTubeの特定の動画を非表示
タイトルやチャンネル名をキーワードで登録して特定の動画を非表示にします。
（サムネイルを右クリックして「◯◯をミュート」で直接登録するのが簡単です）
そのほか、ユーザ名やワードを指定してコメントを非表示にできるのも便利です。
Youtubeとgoogle検索にフィルタ機能を追加するChrome拡張です。「チャンネル及びタイトル指定での動画フィルタ」「コメントフィルタ」「自動再生の無効化」が行えます。

おまけYouTubeの広告をブロック
メニューの「拡張機能の管理」を開き、デベロッパーモードをオンにしてダウンロードしたRemove Adblock Thing（直リン・スクリプトファイル）をドラッグ＆ドロップします。
YouTubeの広告をブロックする拡張機能を動作させないように（ホワイトリストに「www.youtube.com」を登録）するのがポイント。このスクリプトだけで大丈夫です！
